Course

  • Come and learn about how to improve quality in your preschool program using the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale.  We will be covering items and indicators on the scale-including space and furnishings, health and safety, activities, and interactions. We will also cover how to score, certification and reliability, and the Environment Rating Scale System that is being used in Colorado.


  • This class explores and celebrates our differences.  In this class we define culture, bias, and stereotypes.  We learn to recognize them as the possible roadblocks to developing an open working relationship.  This class is offered to assist coaches, teachers, ECE professionals and quality rating specialists to develop the skills they need to create a learning relationship with those they work with.


  • Come and learn about how to improve quality in your infant/toddler program using the Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale. We will be covering items and indicators on the scale-including space and furnishings, health and safety, activities, and interactions. You must have attended the full-day ECERS-R training before attending this training.


  • Come and learn about how to improve quality in your family child care program using the Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale. We will be covering items and indicators on the scale-including space and furnishings, health and safety, activities, and interactions.


  • Does your playground meet new standards? Are you planning any remodeling on your playground?   • Oh, The Places You'll Go! Come join Clayton's Early Reading First's, Toni Latronica & Sheryl Robledo as they explore how to make reading an integral part of children's everyday experiances. Understand the relationship between brain development and learning to read. Learn stratagies to use with infants, toddlers and preschoolers to support reading skills at each developmental stage to support later reading success.


  • Come learn about HOW young children learn more than one language at the same time and the cognitive and social BENIFITS that children experiance by learning English while maintianing their Heritage language. Dr. Espinosa will present a powerful message about closing oppertunity gaps and helping children thrive. 
    Dr. Espinosa'a research and policy work has been nationally reconized for it's impact on establishing effective curriculum and assesment practices for dual language learners. She has published numerous research articals and training manuals on the best supports for children who are acquiring English as a second language.
